Now supporting USTREAM!

TornadoChannel.com now supports Ustream Tornado Channel started off in March 2017 with YouTube as the primary streaming provider, but that wasn’t the end-all-be-all. I’ve had plans to include other streaming services and today the implementation of USTREAM went live!

Update May 22, 2017: We also now support Facebook Live Video!

If you are, or know of a storm chaser who streams on USTREAM, please tell them about us! We’d love to have them on the map which also would generate more of an audience to their stream. For the best experience, chasers who use USTREAM have to be USTREAM PRO subscribers. This way the stream can be embedded into the Tornado Channel website. If you’re not a USTREAM PRO subscriber, that’s OK! The stream opens up in a new tab. It’s not ideal, but it is what it is. USTREAM PRO is not in Tornado Channel’s control.

Joining Tornado Channel and having your stream embedded on our site will help grow your audience and be a more interactive experience for your viewers by seeing your location on the map as well as plenty of weather data!

This is another streaming option for those who want to stream and be on the map, but not streaming with YouTube! I plan to add more streaming services soon!

If there are any features you think would be great for Tornado Channel, please contact us!

If you know a storm chaser who streams video online and would be great to be included on our map, please pass this information to them and have them apply to join!
